FAQ
Common questions about 3D printing, ordering and our other services. Don't see yours? Message us on WhatsApp.
-
What is 3D printing and how does it work?
3D printing (additive manufacturing) builds a part layer by layer from a digital 3D model, rather than cutting material away from a solid block. We take your CAD file or sketch, prepare it for printing, and the printer deposits or cures material one thin layer at a time until the part is complete.
-
What file formats do you accept?
STL and STEP are preferred, and we can also work with OBJ files. If you only have a sketch, photo, or rough idea, that's fine too — we can model it for you as part of the design step.
-
I don't have a 3D model. Can you still help?
Yes. Share a sketch, reference photo, or a description of what you need, and we'll design the part in CAD before printing it, confirming the design with you first.
-
What materials can you print in?
We work with common FDM filaments such as PLA and PETG for most functional and display parts, along with resin printing for finer detail. Tell us how the part will be used and we'll recommend a suitable material.
-
How long does an order take?
Turnaround depends on part size, complexity and current workload — small parts are often quicker, larger or multi-part orders take longer. Share your part and deadline over WhatsApp and we'll give you a clear timeline before you commit.
-
How is 3D printing priced?
Pricing depends on material used, print time, part size and any post-processing needed. Send us your file or sketch and we'll quote it directly rather than using a generic rate — every part is different.
-
What size parts can you print?
We can print small precision parts up to fairly large single pieces. For anything larger than our print bed, we can split the model and join sections during finishing. Share your dimensions and we'll confirm what's possible.
-
Can you match a specific color?
We print in a range of standard filament colors and can advise on the closest match to what you need. For an exact brand color match, let us know upfront so we can check filament availability.
-
Do you offer post-processing and finishing?
Yes — support removal, sanding and basic finishing are available depending on the part. Let us know if you need a specific surface finish and we'll advise what's achievable.
-
How strong are 3D printed parts?
Strength depends on material, wall thickness and print orientation, and we design with this in mind for functional parts. If your part needs to handle load, heat or repeated stress, tell us the use case so we can choose the right settings and material.
-
Do you do CAD design and DfAM work without printing?
Yes, we take on standalone CAD design and Design-for-Additive-Manufacturing projects, including for overseas clients, whether or not the part is ultimately printed by us.
-
Do you help with EV and battery enclosure design?
Yes, we design battery pack layouts and enclosures for electric two-wheelers, bikes and light EVs, and can prototype enclosure components using 3D printing.
-
Can I order just one part, or do you need a minimum quantity?
There's no minimum — we regularly print single prototypes and one-off parts, as well as small batches.
-
Do you run 3D printing workshops for schools or colleges?
Yes, we run hands-on workshops introducing students to 3D printing and design, tailored to the group's age and level. Message us with your student group size and grade to get a session plan.
-
How do I place an order?
The fastest way is to message us on WhatsApp with your file, sketch or idea, along with size, material preference and deadline. We'll confirm feasibility and pricing before starting.
-
Where are you located and do you deliver?
We're based in Kharadi, Pune. You can collect your order from our workshop, or we can arrange delivery — ask us when you place your order.
